I decided it was time to take a little vacation so off I went to the Bahamas by myself. I was a little worried about going alone and being bored but much to my delight it was probably one of the best vacations I have ever taken. I met up with six other women who were traveling together. We found ourselves a bodyguard and driver who was a great friend and island native. He escorted us to so many fun events all week long.The resort was five star and beautiful and had it's own private beach with white powdery sand. There was no need for a snorkle because when you get into the water the fish swim up to you.
We attended bonfires on the beach, a fish fry and went dancing in the town square in Port Lucaya. We laughed and danced and each night went to a different restaurant. It was so much fun and now I have new friends in DC that I can visit.
